A General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) has been established to provide input, feedback, and recommendations to City staff, the consultant team, the Planning Commission, and ultimately the Mayor and City Council on key components of the General Plan. The GPAC serves as an important component of the public participation program providing one of the primary communication channels for the community making recommendations to the Planning Commission and the Mayor and City Council. The term of office coincides with the term of the nominating City Council member of Mayor.
